Located in Nuevo (NEW AY VO) Vallarta, about 15 minutes from Puerto Vallarta on Mexico's Pacific Coast, Club Marival (mah REE val) Vallarta is a 646 room, four star, all-inclusive resort. Two horseshoe shaped buildings enclose two large swimming pools in close proximity to the beach, giving the resort a busy and lively feeling. The resort originally built in the late 1980s as a Jack Tar Village, and sections of the hotel have been built or renovated more recently. Two lobbies are used functionally, one for checkin, and one for checkout, more efficiently processing guests on arrival and departure days.

Club Marival is best for lively, outgoing people, looking for fun and activities in the beautiful west-coast sunshine. The resort's activities staff, known as the animation team, are always visible, busily making sure the fun keeps on happening. Pool activities such as water aerobics, dancing to the resort's theme song, and crazy games and activities are well planned throughout the day. Music is always playing poolside adding to the fun filled atmosphere. Craziness continues throughout the day - like this team based beer rally taking place on the resorts' busy beach, not only great exercise but plenty of fun for those who would rather just watch. You'll likely find some of the same people over at the beach volleyball game. There's certainly plenty of room for some quieter relaxation on a shady beach chair facing the Pacific ocean. The wide and active beach has darker sand as compared to those in the Caribbean, but the sand is soft and the water calm enough for swimming without any strong undertow.
